In the early hours of Tuesday, July 2nd, Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Clement Road for an equipment violation. The driver gave the name Last Ross and a date of birth, but a check of the driver’s license revealed the named individual was deceased.
Further investigation showed the driver was actually 48-year-old Natalie Lashon Smith of Paris. Smith had an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance with a Parole Violation.
Smith was arrested on the warrant and additionally charged with Failing to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice.
