Troopers Seek Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run That Killed Bicyclist in Titus County

On Tuesday night, July 1, 2025, at approximately 8:39 PM, Titus County dispatch received a 911 call reporting a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist at the 6000 block of FM 2152 (Greenhill Road).

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers responded to the scene and determined that the male bicyclist had been traveling northbound when he was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle. The impact threw the rider into a borrow ditch, and the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

The victim was identified, and next of kin have been notified.

As part of their investigation, Troopers have released an image of a vehicle that may have been involved in the crash. The case remains under investigation by Troopers from the Highway Patrol Office in Mt. Pleasant.
