Rowlett Teen Wanted in Shooting of 15-Year-Old During Apparent Item Sale; $5,000 Reward Offered

The Rowlett Police Department is searching for 17-year-old Xavier Sen'cer Stevenson in connection with the shooting of a 15-year-old boy that occurred on Friday, June 13, in a business parking lot near the 5600 block of Rowlett Road.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:28 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered that a 15-year-old had been shot in the head during what investigators believe was a planned meeting to sell items. The victim was accompanied by his brother at the time of the incident.

The suspect fled westbound across Rowlett Road toward Maple Lane following the shooting. Rowlett Police and Fire Department personnel provided immediate medical aid, and the victim was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators conducted a video canvass of the area and obtained footage of the suspect entering a nearby store shortly before the shooting. The suspect was initially described as a Black male, approximately 17 to 19 years old, wearing a red hoodie, red slides, and light-colored Nike shorts.

The suspect has now been identified as Xavier Sen'cer Stevenson, 17, of Rowlett. He is described as a Black male, approximately 5'09" tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with dark hair and dark eyes. He is currently wanted for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, a first-degree felony.

Anonymous tips may also be submitted. The North Texas Crime Commission is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to Stevenson’s arrest.
