The Titus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected homicide after a woman was found dead on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in the 500 block of County Road 3130 in Cookville.
Deputies responded to the scene and located the body of 54-year-old Amy Denmon Allen. Her husband, Michael Paul Allen, 52, was detained at the residence.
Following an interview conducted by the Titus County Criminal Investigation Division, Michael Allen was arrested and booked into the Titus County Jail on a charge of Murder.
He was arraigned on June 2, 2025, and his bond was set at $1,000,000.
The investigation remains ongoing.
