On May 27, 2025, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at the West Hylands Apartments in Athens, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm.
Investigators Jonathan Barrios, Jonathan Daille, Brad Beddingfield, and other team members carried out the warrant, which was issued by 3rd Judicial District Judge Scott McKee. During the search, suspected methamphetamines were located in multiple areas of the apartment along with a handgun.
Ashley Miller and Jermone Thompson were arrested and booked into the Henderson County Jail. Both face charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 grams but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third-degree felony.
Jessica Brown was also arrested on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 less than one gram, a state jail felony.
All three individuals remain in custody at the Henderson County Jail awaiting arraignment.
