A 24-year-old Buna man has been arrested following a domestic disturbance involving gunfire at a residence on County Road 746.
On May 24, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Deputy Gray and Sgt. Wade responded to a report of shots fired at the location. Upon arrival, Deputy Gray detained the suspect, identified as Rodney Holoman, 24, of Buna.
According to the investigation, Holoman and his grandmother were engaged in a verbal altercation inside the home when Holoman produced a handgun and fired a round toward her feet. The shot missed, striking a wall inside the residence. Holoman then exited the home and threw the firearm under the house.
Holoman was arrested at the scene and transported to the Jasper County Jail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Family Violence, a second-degree felony.
