Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of 20-year-old Omarion Owens, who is wanted for multiple violent felonies in both Texas and Arkansas.
Owens is the primary suspect in a March shooting that left a mother and her 10-year-old daughter injured while sleeping in their bed. Investigators say more than 60 rounds were fired into their home in just 11 seconds during the early morning hours. The mother sustained injuries, and her daughter was left in critical condition. Authorities report that the child is now home but continues to recover from her wounds.
Owens faces the following charges:
-
Two counts of Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury
-
Two counts of Aggravated Robbery, including one incident where shots were fired
-
Felony warrants in Arkansas for Theft of a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Officials say these crimes occurred within weeks of Owens returning to Texarkana.
Anyone with information about Owens’ whereabouts is urged to call 903-793-STOP. Tips are completely anonymous. If your information leads to an arrest, you may receive a $1,500 cash reward.
