The Longview Police Department arrested a juvenile today, May 14, 2025, after the student made continuous threats while off campus.
Upon learning of the threats, officers located and detained the student. The charge is Terrorist Threat, which is classified as a third-degree felony. The juvenile was subsequently transported to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Longview Police Department affirmed its commitment to thoroughly investigate all threats directed at school campuses and to pursue appropriate charges to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community.
