An off-duty Jasper County Sheriff's Office Deputy made two arrests at Buna High School on Tuesday, May 13th, following two separate disturbances.
Deputy Matt Harrell was attending a function at the school when he reportedly witnessed a female assault another female. Deputy Harrell intervened and placed the initial suspect under arrest for Assault.
While attempting to secure the first suspect, a second disturbance broke out. As Deputy Harrell attempted to intervene in this second incident, another female allegedly interfered with his efforts. This individual was then also placed under arrest.
Joanna Michelle Wilson, 34, of Buna, was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury, a Class A Misdemeanor. Samantha Artie Bohler, 34, also of Buna, was arrested for Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant, a Class B Misdemeanor. Both individuals were transported to the Jasper County Jail.
