Woman Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend Who Crashed Car into Apartment A/C Unit

Ianna Fulton

A 22-year-old Texarkana woman was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, who then crashed his car into an air conditioning unit at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of College Drive.

Texarkana Police Officers responded to 911 calls about the crash around 5:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 11th. Upon arrival, they discovered a 28-year-old man inside the vehicle who was unconscious and had a stab wound in the middle of his back.

Following an investigation, officers determined that the man had been stabbed by his girlfriend, Ianna Fulton, during an argument inside an apartment. He then attempted to flee in his car but crashed into an A/C unit next to the building.

Fulton reportedly claimed that the victim had stabbed himself, but officers quickly determined this was inconsistent with the evidence.

Ianna Fulton, 22, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She was taken to the Bi-State Jail, and her bond is set at $100,000. The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition but is now expected to make a full recovery.
