The Huntington Police Department is currently investigating a concerning incident that occurred at Huntington City Park last week involving four juveniles and an adult male cyclist.
According to police, the juveniles initiated a verbal confrontation with the adult male, who was riding his bicycle peacefully through the park. The situation escalated when the juveniles allegedly verbally threatened the cyclist. The incident took a serious turn when one of the juveniles displayed a knife, and another was seen holding a two-by-four piece of wood.
Given the severity of the threats and the display of weapons, the Huntington Police Department is actively investigating the matter. They are considering charges of aggravated assault against two of the juveniles involved, emphasizing the seriousness of the incident and the potential legal ramifications. The other two juveniles may also face charges.
