Reward Offered for Kaufman County Murder Suspect Who Removed Ankle Monitor and Fled Before Court Appearance

Wanted: Trevor Mceuen

Kaufman County Sheriff Bryan Beavers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Trever Mceuen, a murder suspect who failed to appear in court on May 5, 2025.

According to the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, Mceuen was scheduled for a court appearance that morning when, at approximately 5:33 a.m., he removed his court-ordered ankle monitor and fled his residence. Authorities say it is unknown whether he left on foot or in a vehicle. No clothing description was available.

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with multiple law enforcement agencies, said they were actively searching for Mceuen in Van Zandt County and surrounding areas.  

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office at 469-376-4500. To remain anonymous, tipsters can contact Kaufman County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-847-7522. Authorities advise not to approach Mceuen if spotted—report any sightings to law enforcement immediately.
