Texarkana Police are seeking the public's help in locating Jaquavion Williams, a suspect identified in connection with a series of early morning break-ins at local oil change businesses in Texarkana, Texas, and Arkansas.
Detective Lauren Freeman has been investigating the burglaries, and through diligent detective work and surveillance footage obtained from a nearby apartment complex, Williams has been identified as a person of interest.
The video reportedly shows two men running from the vicinity of one of the burglarized shops and carrying a safe to Williams' car just minutes after the incident occurred.
After warrants were issued for his arrest on two felony burglary charges, Detective Freeman contacted Williams, who initially stated he would turn himself in the following day. However, he failed to do so.
Authorities are now asking for the public's assistance in locating Jaquavion Williams. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Texarkana Police Department at 903-798-3116 or contact Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
