On Thursday, May 1, 2025, officers with the Linden Police Department arrested Brandon Dean Strickland after responding to a report of a suspicious white male sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot of First Baptist Church.
Upon arrival, officers located the subject and identified him using his Texas driver’s license. A warrant check revealed Strickland had five active warrants out of Cass County. He was immediately taken into custody.
During a search of his vehicle, officers discovered drug paraphernalia. Strickland was transported to the Cass County Jail and booked on the following charges:

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Tampering/Fabrication of Physical Evidence

Possession of a Dangerous Drug

Possession of Marijuana

Driving While License Invalid
He was also issued a Class C citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Texas Highway Patrol assisted in the arrest.
