Ryan Mardy Morse, 17, was arrested on March 13, 2025, after attempting to burglarize vehicles in the 400 block of NE Loop 286.
At approximately 6:00 a.m., Paris Police officers responded to a report of two individuals wearing dark clothing and masks attempting to burglarize vehicles. Officers located suspects matching the description near Paris Regional Medical Center.
The suspects fled on foot when they saw the officers. Morse was apprehended and admitted to looking for vehicles to burglarize. He was found in possession of narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia, and tobacco products, which are illegal for individuals under 18.
Morse was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
