Officers responded to an assault call on Sunday in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286, where they met with a victim who reported being assaulted and choked by an ex-boyfriend.
The victim identified the suspect as 35-year-old Beau Louis Carrol of Paris. Officers observed physical injuries consistent with the reported assault. Carrol was found in another trailer at the location, displaying evidence that corroborated the victim’s account.
Carrol was arrested and charged with Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath, a felony. He was booked into jail without incident.
