A report regarding Sexual Assault of a Child, where Black was listed as the suspect, is what led to the first charge of Sexual Assault of a Child. An affidavit and arrest warrant was presented to Bullard Municipal Court Judge Frank Dobrovolony, who reviewed the affidavit and further signed the arrest warrant. This case will be filed with the Cherokee County District Attorney's Office.

That investigation resulted in the three additional charges of Harboring Runaway Child, Enticing a Child, and False Report to a Peace Officer.
