On January 12, 2025, at approximately 7:35 PM, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators Jonathan Barrios, Jonathan Daille, and Brad Beddingfield, along with K-9 units and other deputies, executed a narcotics search warrant on East Tyler Street in Athens. The warrant was authorized by 392nd Judicial District Judge Scott McKee.
During the search of the residence and property, investigators discovered methamphetamine packaged for distribution, as well as baggies, scales, and syringes. Seven individuals were found at the location and were subsequently taken into custody:
- Major Codee-Ray Kenas, 45, of Athens: Charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond: $150,000.
- Amber Simone Van, 43, of Athens: Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Active Warrants, including Bail Jumping and Failure to Appear. Bond: $30,000.
- Jesse Aaron Shoemake, 29, of Mabank: Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Active Warrants. Bond: $50,000.
- Robert Wayne Hollaway, 36, of Athens: Charged with Possession of Marijuana and Active Warrants, including Failure to Appear. Bond: $3,228.74.
- Eric Weldon Frazier, 32, of Athens: Charged with Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond: $35,000.
- Bianca Jean Adams, 23, of Athens: Arrested on an Active Warrant for Theft of Service.
- Lisa Joann McKee, 40, of Mabank: Arrested on Active Warrants issued by the Athens Municipal Court.
All individuals were transported to the Henderson County Detention Center for booking. The investigation remains ongoing.
