A train vs. pedestrian crash on Thursday, January 2, 2025, prompted a swift response from Forney Police and medical personnel. The incident occurred at approximately 9:44 p.m. between the Trinity Street and Lawson Road area.
Officers searched nearby wooded areas and located an injured Hispanic male at the scene. The victim was transported via CareFlite helicopter to receive medical treatment.
Union Pacific officials will assume jurisdiction over the investigation.
