Wells Cattle Co. Burgers & Pies will open its second location in Caddo Mills on January 6, 2025 at 2306 Main St. The new restaurant follows the success of its original location in Rockwall and will continue the company's commitment to offering premium pasture-raised beef.
The inspiration for Wells Cattle Co. came from two significant life events, according to owner Lee Wells. In 2015, Wells experienced a health scare that led to a series of heart attacks. The event sparked his passion for healthy eating and clean, hormone-free food. With a focus on sourcing and raising healthy animals, Wells Cattle Co. is dedicated to providing the best beef known to man.
The second inspiration came after the passing of Wells' father, who had raised him on a dairy farm and later a beef cattle ranch. As Wells took on the responsibilities of the ranch, he found a renewed passion for cattle farming, deepening his connection to both his family and the land.
"I believe we owe it to our children to provide key elements in their upbringing that will cause them to enjoy a healthy lifestyle centered on a love for family," said Wells.
The new Caddo Mills location will feature Wells Cattle Co.'s signature pasture-raised beef, including their primary product, whole ground beef, in their burgers and pies.
