On Thursday morning, December 26, at 3:37 AM, a Paris officer initiated a traffic stop in the 700 block of Graham Street for a non-functioning brake light. The vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Cameron Isaiah Harrison, continued for approximately six city blocks despite the patrol unit’s active lights and siren, eventually stopping at NW 12th Street and West Cherry Street.
Harrison was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle, a third-degree felony. Additionally, Harrison had an outstanding warrant from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Identify and Providing False Information. He was booked into the Paris Jail.
