On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at 6:08 p.m., a three-vehicle crash occurred at Fallon Drive and Texoma Parkway near Midway Mall.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Another vehicle caught fire, trapping the driver, who was rescued and is expected to survive. The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
Following a preliminary investigation, one of the drivers was arrested for Criminally Negligent Homicide. Authorities determined that significant evidence at the scene provided probable cause that the driver’s negligence led to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
