On December 16, 2024, at approximately 7:42 PM, Wylie Police responded to a Target store regarding a shoplifting incident.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Billy Flores, a Dallas 911 Communications employee, and a female companion concealed items inside a children’s stroller and attempted to exit the store without paying. The pair was detained by loss prevention staff until police arrived.
Flores was arrested and charged with Theft of Property valued between $100 and $750. He was transported to the Wylie Jail. Charges are pending against the female companion.
Officers also issued Flores two additional citations for prior incidents at the time of his arrest.
