The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying individuals connected to an armed robbery at the Skill Zone Game Room, located at 4573 State Highway 64 in Ben Wheeler, near the Smith County border.
The robbery occurred on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at approximately 6:00 a.m. Two armed men entered the establishment and assaulted the manager at gunpoint before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled the scene heading toward Tyler.

According to surveillance footage, one woman entered the game room multiple times before leaving, while another briefly visited the establishment before exiting. The footage shows both women leaving the parking lot in a 2018 Kia Forte compact sedan just moments before the masked men entered the building.

The Sheriff’s Office has identified one of the women captured in the images as a person of interest and is urging anyone with information regarding the robbery or the individuals involved to contact the Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office at 903-567-4133.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are working to gather additional details to identify and apprehend the suspects.
