The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating the individual responsible for throwing a large rock through the windshield of an oncoming vehicle on October 18, 2024.
The incident occurred around 5:50 PM on FM 148, just south of I-20. The victim reported that the rock was thrown unprovoked and without warning, causing their vehicle to veer off the road and onto the shoulder. Fortunately, the victim narrowly avoided an accident.
