The Rains County Sheriff's Office has announced several significant arrests in recent days as part of ongoing investigations.
On November 11, 2024, 27-year-old Hunter Nickolas Wasilew was arrested following a foot chase with deputies. He faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-b (Meth or Fentanyl) between 1 and 4 grams and Evading Arrest Detention. His bond was set at $225,000.
The following day, November 12, 2024, 60-year-old Bryan Keith Spence of Emory was arrested in connection with a church fire. He was charged with Arson Intending Damage on a Place of Worship, with a bond set at $100,000.
On November 13, 2024, 22-year-old Richard Erwin Nolen was taken into custody for Possession of Child Pornography. Nolen had previously been arrested in October for Online Solicitation of a Minor but had bonded out. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators discovered additional evidence on his device(s). His bond was set at $200,000.
Lastly, on November 17, 2024, 23-year-old Skye Angel Jarvis was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-b (Meth or Fentanyl) between 1 and 4 grams, Prohibited Substance in a Correction Facility, and a Health and Safety Violation. Her total bond was set at $80,500.
