Three Suspects Captured After Pursuit From Oklahoma to Grayson County

A coordinated effort among multiple law enforcement agencies led to the capture of three suspects following a violent incident at an Oklahoma Tribal facility and a vehicle pursuit into Grayson County, Texas.

Around 4:26 AM, Grayson County deputies were alerted to a pursuit crossing into Texas on Highway 75. The suspects’ vehicle, a Dodge Charger, was abandoned near Exit 51 in Van Alstyne, where three male suspects fled on foot into an open field.

A perimeter was quickly established with assistance from the Van Alstyne, Gunter, Anna, and Denison Police Departments, as well as Texas DPS. Grayson County and Anna PD deployed drones, locating the suspects in a wooded area. With support from Grayson County K-9 Raven and a DPS helicopter, all three suspects were apprehended without further incident.

    • Brian Luna, 24
    • Jesus Luna, 31
    • Leon Villa, 23

Charges Filed

  • Grayson County: Evading Arrest (Foot) for all three suspects; Tampering with Evidence for one suspect.
  • Denison PD: Evading Arrest (Vehicle) for one suspect.
  • Choctaw Light Horse: Felony Assault for two suspects.

Local entities, including Van Alstyne ISD and Grayson College, delayed operations to ensure public safety during the search. All suspects were treated by EMS and transported to the Grayson County Jail.
