Paris Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 500 block of NE 6th Street between November 13 and the report date.
The victim reported that someone had entered her home and stolen an air conditioner. Additionally, the suspect had caused damage to another air conditioning unit while attempting to remove copper.
Upon further inspection, the victim found several backpacks and a bicycle in the residence that did not belong to her, leading her to believe the suspect might still be inside. However, when the victim went to call the police, she discovered that the intruder had left the property.
The incident remains under investigation by the Paris Police Department.
