A 3-year-old girl tragically drowned after falling into a pool at a home in Lindale on Saturday. According to the Lindale Police Department, the girl wandered near the pool before the accident occurred.
911 was called immediately after the girl was discovered in the water. Police, EMS, and the Fire Department responded, with a Lindale police officer arriving first on the scene. The officer began life-saving measures before EMS took over shortly after. The child was rushed to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Lindale police have completed their investigation and have determined that there is no suspicion of foul play or negligence in the incident.
