On Friday, October 18, 2024, Paris Police Officers apprehended 30-year-old Justin Kenny Horne following a disturbance involving a female acquaintance in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue. Horne was under a protective order prohibiting him from harassing or contacting the victim, which also barred him from possessing firearms.
During the incident, Horne reportedly threatened the victim and another individual with a gun. Officers arrested Horne for multiple misdemeanor traffic warrants and for violating the protective order. Upon searching his vehicle, police recovered a handgun. Horne now faces serious charges related to the violation and the threats made during the confrontation.
