On Monday, September 9th, at 06:49 AM, the Gunter Fire Department and Howe Fire Department were dispatched for mutual aid to assist Sherman Fire-Rescue with a structure fire. The fire, which was contained to a shop, did not spread to any other structures, though the shop was deemed a total loss.
