Cyclist Without ID Struck by Vehicle in Paris, Airlifted to Medical City-Plano for Head Injury

On Saturday, August 10, at 8:41 PM, emergency services from Paris EMS and the Paris Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Lamar Avenue in response to a traffic accident involving injuries. A white male, who was not carrying identification and was neither wearing reflective gear nor using lights, was riding a bicycle without lights when he was struck by a vehicle.

Paris EMS transported the injured male, who sustained a head injury, to Paris Regional Health. He was later airlifted by Air Evac to Medical City-Plano for advanced medical care.

Multiple witnesses were present at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on-site and has been fully cooperative with law enforcement. An officer on the scene, who had encountered the individual previously, suspected the injured person to be Jearmey Morgan but was unable to confirm his identity at that time. The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Paris Police Accident Reconstruction Team.
