On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Paris Police arrested 86-year-old Paul David Payne of Reno, Texas, on a warrant for Indecent Exposure. The arrest occurred after police contacted Payne at the scene of a minor accident.
The warrant stemmed from a complaint in April 2023. Payne was accused of intentionally exposing himself to two North Lamar students who were having lunch at Lake Crook Park. Officials identified Payne through vehicle information and subsequently obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Payne was processed without incident. He was released the following day after posting a $5,000 bond.
