Jose Bravo Jr., 21, of Tyler, was arrested on May 27 following his admission to investigators that he had been drinking before a fatal crash in March.
The incident occurred on March 24 on FM 2767, northeast of CR 387 in Smith County. The crash involved a red 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-350 traveling southwest on the road, which veered off to avoid hitting a dog.
The car rolled over multiple private drives, ejecting three people. One passenger, identified as Jose Bravo Delgado, was pronounced dead at the scene, while another passenger, identified as Santa Lucia Bravo, succumbed to injuries at a local hospital a few days later.
A voluntary blood draw confirmed Bravo Jr.'s intoxication at the time of the crash.
