A female victim reported an assault in the 1700 block of North Main Street in Paris on Tuesday evening, June 4th, at 7:44 PM.
According to the victim, a known female and male arrived in a vehicle, and the female suspect exited and assaulted her with closed fists before leaving the scene. The officer observed redness on the victim’s left ear and a swelling on her head.
The victim provided information about the suspects, leading to their location by the officer. The male claimed that the female suspect dropped him off and departed. However, Paris Dispatch informed the officer of a subsequent 9-1-1 call from the same victim, alleging that the female suspect had driven by her residence, brandished a firearm, and threatened her.
Paris Police will conduct further investigation into a Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
