Last Friday morning, May 17, 2024, Paris Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1900 block of East Booth. They encountered Denetra Nicole Edwards, 41, who had an outstanding Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Warrant stemming from an incident in February.
Edwards had been arrested on February 25, 2024, after she broke a glass beer bottle and injured her girlfriend. Officers took Edwards into custody and booked her into the Paris Jail. Her bond has been set at $5,000.
