Red Lobster Closing 7 Locations in Texas

Several Red Lobster restaurants across the United States have closed their doors, with nearly 50 locations shutting down on Monday, as reported by national media. Among these closures are several in Texas. Red Lobster, a seafood restaurant chain founded in Lakeland, Florida, in the late 1960s, is reportedly considering filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to various news sources.

The following seven Red Lobster locations in Texas are now listed as closed:

  • College Station: 1200 University Dr E
  • Dallas: 9069 Vantage Point Dr
  • Houston: 302 Farm to Market 1960 Road West Cypress Pointe
  • Lake Jackson: 104 TX-332, Brazos Mall
  • Longview: 3515 McCann Rd
