Burglary Suspect Apprehended Following Post Office Theft

On May 4, 2024, around 1 a.m., Crockett Police Department officers rushed to the US Post Office at 600 E Goliad Ave, responding to a suspected burglary. Upon arrival, they discovered two USPS delivery vehicles with their hoods pried open and their batteries stolen. The culprit had fled the scene before the officers' arrival.

After days of diligent investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Angel Daniel Reyes Jr., aged 60 and a resident of Crockett. Reyes was wanted for Burglary of a Vehicle, classified as a Class A Misdemeanor. He was apprehended on May 14, 2024, following the issuance of an arrest warrant.
