Farmersville Police Department reported that on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, around 7:56 pm, officers were called to a significant vehicle collision at the junction of State Highway 78 and County Road 550. While heading to the scene, one of the police vehicles was involved in an accident.
The officer in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was promptly attended to. As a precautionary measure, the officer was transported to the hospital for further assessment.
