Greenville Police Department Releases April 2024 Activity Report

The Greenville Police Department has released its monthly activity report for April 2024, detailing various incidents and activities within the community.

According to the report, the department conducted a total of 899 traffic stops during the month. Additionally, officers responded to 3,237 calls for service from the public.

In terms of traffic incidents, there were 48 collisions without injury and 40 collisions with injury reported. Furthermore, there were 30 hit-and-run incidents documented.

Law enforcement efforts resulted in 73 arrests made during April. Among the reported crimes were five burglaries and six vehicle burglaries. Theft incidents numbered 52, while there were a total of 81 cases of criminal trespass reported.

Regarding assaults, there were 17 incidents recorded, and 20 cases of family violence reported within the community during the month of April.
