Multiple Paris Police officers responded to a shots fired call on Thursday, May 8, 2024, in the 500 block of Deshong Drive.
Witnesses and a victim reported that a known suspect entered an apartment without permission, brandishing a firearm. The suspect held the victim at gunpoint, robbed them of cash, and fired a shot as they attempted to leave the room.
Police recovered a handgun, shell casing, and marijuana from the scene and identified the suspect from photographs. The investigation is ongoing.
