Major Drug Bust in Polk County Leads to Felony Warrants, Residence Owner At-Large

A joint operation on May 8, 2024, involving the Polk County Sheriff’s Office CID and Narcotics Division, the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team, and the DPS Criminal Investigations Division, resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the Yaupon Cove subdivision of Polk County. Detectives discovered a significant quantity of LSD, MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, and THC oil inside the residence, along with various drug paraphernalia/equipment and firearms. These drugs were found pre-packaged and intended for distribution in Polk County.

The owner of the residence, Tammy Ezernack, was not present at the time of the search. Felony arrest warrants have been issued for Ezernack on the following charges:

  • Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1A >=80<4000 AU (F1)
  • Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 2 >=4G<400G (F1)
  • Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 2 >400G (F1)
  • Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 2 >=4G<400G (F1)
  • Possession of Marijuana <=5lbs>4oz (SJF)
