Jason Bradley Fears, 36, of Bullard, was arrested on January 7, 2023, after being reported for attempting to pull over a driver in Chandler while using flashing blue and red lights. Fears was charged with impersonating a public servant and pleaded guilty in Judge Kerry L. Russell’s court on Monday. He received a 10-year confinement for the offense.
The arrest stemmed from a speeding stop by a Tyler officer, who recognized Fears as the suspect in the impersonation incident. Fears, driving a silver sedan, was allegedly using hand signals in his attempt to pull over the other driver.
Fears has a prior conviction as a lifetime registered sex offender, dated December 21, 2000, where he received a 3-year 6-month parole with mandatory supervision judgment. He was found guilty of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a 7-year-old male child.
