On May 1, 2024, around 8:40 p.m., Longview Police Officers responded to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 900 block of Pine Tree Road.
According to the investigation, a Ram pickup truck traveling northbound in the inside lane towards East Broadway Drive collided with an adult female pedestrian who was crossing Pine Tree Rd walking westbound. The pedestrian did not yield the right of way to the vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
