In April 2024, the Rains County Sheriff's Office released its monthly call statistics.
The report revealed a total of 74 calls for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) assistance and 8 disturbance calls. Law enforcement made 27 arrests during the month. The Sheriff's Office responded to a total of 716 calls for service, including 562 traffic stops. Additionally, there were 39 reports of livestock in the roadway, 17 accidents, and 23 reports of reckless driving.
