A Lamar County jury has convicted Taj Ramel Lee, aged 48 from Paris, on charges of Possession of a controlled substance of less than one gram and Possession with intent to deliver 20 grams of cocaine. Lee was arrested on July 26, 2023. During the trial's sentencing phase, the jury heard testimony about Lee's prior criminal record. Consequently, he has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
