The Annual Sulphur Springs City-Wide Spring Clean-Up is scheduled to take place from Monday, April 22, 2024, to Saturday, April 27, 2024. During this time, residents of Sulphur Springs are encouraged to bring large items for disposal to the Sulphur Springs City Collection site from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
To ensure that only city residents participate, individuals bringing items for disposal will be required to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or city utility bill displaying their current address.
Certain items will not be accepted at the collection site, including containers or appliances containing hazardous materials. For instance, refrigerators must have documentation proving that the Freon has been removed. Additionally, household hazardous wastes such as paint, batteries, and tires will not be allowed.
Residents are responsible for transporting their own garbage to the collection site, as the city will not provide transportation services. However, assistance may be available on-site for those who need help unloading items.
The Sulphur Springs city collection site is located approximately half a mile east of the 4-way stop at Jefferson St (HWY 67) and Loop 301.
