Early Friday morning, the Marshall PD Special Response Team (SRT) and the Harrison County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) teamed up for a strategic narcotics search warrant in the 1600 block of Sanford St. The operation, led by the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, resulted in a successful search.
The search yielded a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and several firearms. Two individuals were arrested during the operation:

41-year-old Johnathen Devon Oneal of Marshall, faces charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance (PCS) PG1 4>200 gr; 2 counts PCS PG 2 4>400 gr; Possession of a Firearm by a Felon; and Endangering a Child. All drug charges against Oneal will carry a Drug-Free Zone designation due to the proximity of Price T Young Elementary School. His bond has been set at $400,000.

38-year-old Daviesha Lanea Lewis was charged with Endangering a Child; Possession of a Firearm by a Felon; and Resisting Arrest. Her bond was set at $103,000. Lewis had been previously arrested a month ago, on March 12th, for assault causing bodily injury and resisting arrest.
