Former Payne Springs police officer 41-year-old Jonathan Hutchison pleaded guilty on Monday, April 15th, to charges of manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. The court noted that a charge of money laundering is under consideration.
Hutchison's guilty plea comes after his arrest in March 2023, along with former Payne Springs Chief of Police April Meadows.
Search warrants revealed controlled substances in their homes at the time of their arrest.
Meadows is scheduled to face trial on June 24.
