Paris Police responded to a disturbance call on Monday at the 800 block of SE 42nd. Officers encountered Leah Dawn Bosse, 40, who had allegedly assaulted a 65-year-old family member.
Bosse, who appeared to have been injured prior to the officers' arrival, attempted to reenter the residence while officers were providing assistance.
During the encounter, Bosse struck and kicked an officer. She was subsequently restrained, arrested, and taken directly to Lamar County Jail. Bosse faces charges of Injury to the Elderly, Assault on a Public Servant, and Resisting Arrest.
